The Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) is a federal initiative that enables skilled foreign workers and international students who have studied in Canada to permanently live and work in one of the four Atlantic provinces: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, or Newfoundland and Labrador.
To apply under the AIP, you must:
Intend to settle in Atlantic Canada.
Have recently graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution in Atlantic Canada or be a skilled worker.

To qualify for the AIP, you need to:
Have relevant work experience, unless you’re an international graduate from a recognized post-secondary institution in Atlantic Canada.
Meet or exceed the educational requirements.
Meet or exceed the language requirements.
Demonstrate that you have sufficient funds to support yourself and your family upon arrival in Canada.
Note: If you are already living and working in Canada with a valid work permit, you are not required to show proof of funds.
Once you meet all the eligibility requirements, you can start searching for a job with a designated Atlantic employer.
