Types of Work Permits:

3. Residence Permit

General Procedure:

• For Short-Term Work (Less than 90 days within a 180-day period): Submit a work permit application to the Labour Centre.

• For Long-Term Work (Exceeding 90 days within a 180-day period): Submit a joint permit application to the Immigration Bureau. Approval for a joint work permit can take up to 90 days, and the permit is valid for a period of 2 years, with the possibility of extending for an additional 2-year period.
